COMPANY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

BOOKING POLICIES

  • You must use a valid credit to book an appointment. No stolen credit cards, please. We don’t like those (or you for trying to use them).

  • Same day appointments made over the phone must be paid for at the time of booking if you do not want to book through our system. You will be sent a text that will provide you with a credit card payment link that you must use while on the phone with our booking specialist.  If you are not willing to do this, then we will not schedule a same day appointment and you will need to make an appointment through our booking system for a later time.

  • Any appointment that has been made and is not confirmed with a valid credit card at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment will be canceled at the therapist's discretion.

  • All new clients must have their own Fresha account under their name (no booking under another account name, spouse, friend or otherwise).

  • You must purchase a voucher if you wish to pay for someone else’s appointment. If you book an appointment under one name, and another person shows up, we will no longer allow you to make appointments. This is due to multiple incidents of people booking for other people with canceled or denied cards upon check out.

CANCELLATION AND LATE ARRIVAL/NO SHOW POLICIES

  • We understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone’s life. Unforeseen events such as car problems, unexpected business meetings, and illnesses are just a few reasons why you might need to consider canceling a massage appointment. A little communication goes a long way and our time is valuable. Just give us a call and don’t try to pull one over on us and we promise we’ll do our best to work with you. Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service.

  • You have 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to reschedule with no penalty to you. If you reschedule or cancel within 24 hours, you will be charged 50% of your service.

  • If you are late, you will be given the time allotted for your session but no more as we need the proper amount of time for sanitizing and resetting. Time boundaries will be enforced so please take them seriously.

  • NO CALL, NO SHOWS WILL BE CHARGED 100% OF THE APPOINTMENT COST! We consider someone to be a no call/no show if you are 15 minutes late for your appointment and you have not contacted us. If you are a no call, no show, your account will be flagged and if you wish to try to make another appointment, you will be required to pay upfront at the time of the booking.

RESPECT FOR CLIENT’S NEEDS AND BOUNDARIES

  • The client may choose to leave on as much clothing as needed for comfort or modesty concerns, refuse any massage methods, stop the massage at any time and is free to leave at any time. The therapy door is never locked. However we ask that you try to be as communicative as you can be if you’re feeling uncomfortable. We promise you won’t hurt our feelings if you need something adjusted or need accommodation.

  • The client will always be modestly draped. Only the area being massaged will be undraped. Some areas in the hip and gluteal region may be massaged over the linens/clothes in order to maintain modesty and propriety. The client will be kept informed of the area to be massaged and can say no at any time.

  • Occasionally, an emotional response to massage occurs. If this happens, it is ok to express any feelings in our safe, nonjudgmental environment - or you may request privacy and end the session. You always have control.

CLIENT CONDUCT

  • We firmly believe in a safe and comfortable environment for our therapists and clients. As health and wellness providers, we understand that the body sometimes responds in unexpected or embarrassing ways. Whether it’s passing gas, snoring, drooling, or increased blood flow, our therapists are trained to ignore these responses and we encourage the client to as well (provided the physical response is not a medical emergency or a reaction to pain or discomfort).

  • Due to strong ethical, moral, and legal values, we have a zero tolerance policy for inappropriate conduct. This includes suggestive comments, sexual innuendos, any deliberate actions to encourage a physical sexual response, intentional exposure, or touching of yourself or a massage therapist in an inappropriate way.

  • Any listed behaviors will result in the termination of the massage session and the client will not be allowed to return for further massages. Our full fee will be expected.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated, is excessively dirty (if you're gonna garden or go to the gym, check yourself before you come), or has open sores or infectious skin diseases.  Remember, we are putting our hands on you and you're putting your body on our equipment. Be mindful and respectful of that.

TREATING MINORS

  • If the child is younger than 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian is required to sign their form. If the minor is 13 or younger, the parent or legal guardian must stay in the treatment room during the session.
